Ben Forta has graciously offered all Adobe User Group MEMBERS a huge discount on admission to Adobe Max this year.  He has created a discount code that gets you $400 off.  That is a HUGE savings!  If you are interested in getting the discount code, please email me off-list (webmaster_wendy@yahoo.com).  If you do get the discount code, PLEASE do not give it to anyone not inside our Adobe User Group.

  • Software Review Chair --Manages relations with Adobe Software Review program to receive free software in exchange for reviews.. Communicates and organizes distribution of software and receipt of reviews.

Voted for new officers
  • Wendy Wolfington is now Manager
  • Karen Bryan is Co-Manager
  • Karsten Pearce is Webmaster
  • Treasurer, Membership Chair and Speaker Chair positions are still open.  Wendy will send an email out to the group to see if anyone would like to volunteer or  nominate someone for these positions. A poll will be posted on the Yahoo group.

Discussed new ways to get our group noticed by others
Reviewed Bi-Laws
  • We need to work on creating new Bi-Laws (our current Bi-Laws are very out of date)
New Speaker / Presentation Ideas
  • Mark will speak about ActionScript
  • Diann will speak about Photostory
  • We all would like to see a presentation about the differences between Fireworks and Photoshop (Wendy will work on this)
  • Wendy can talk about integrating Google Maps into your applications
  • Jill had previously said she would speak about Moodle
  • Wendy can talk about using Photoshop for website mockups
  • A poll will be created on the Yahoo Group to see if anyone not in attendance has ideas for other topics
Adding Tips & Solutions on website
  • Anyone in the Yahoo Group can send an email with information they would like to see on the website. 
  • Posts to the website will only be made by group officers
